Appeal for Help for Typhoon Affected Families
Dear Friends,
We are all aware of the damage that Typhoon Ondoy has brought to Metro Manila. Many of us have spent sleepless night stranded in floods and traffic, and monitoring the progress of rescue operations. But others have suffered more and are still suffering helplessly.
To those who have been spared and have something to spare and share, TAO-Pilipinas is appealing for support for disaster relief for our assisted communities.
The following are communities we assist in partnership with other development NGOs. Solicited support will directly go to our assisted community organizations with proper acknowledgment and updates on the recipient’s plight.
Urgently needed are ready to eat food (that is not easily perishable – such as canned goods), clothes, blankets or cash. Any support you will extend will go a long way to alleviate the present condition of these poor communities.
