We aim to: 

Support participatory human settlements planning, development and management,  through: 

    • Providing technical support to urban poor organizations, local government units and non-government organizations in human settlements planning, development and management.
    • Advocating the implementation of participatory human settlements planning, development and management in government housing projects.
    • Developing the competencies of urban poor organizations, local government units and non-government organizations in planning, development and implementation of sustainable human settlements.
    • Ensuring the adoption of a balanced and holistic urban-rural land use and development plans.

Enhance of technical knowledge and skills among stakeholders in the housing and urban development sector especially the marginalized groups through:  

    • Facilitating the transfer of technology, knowledge, skills, and attitudes to urban poor organizations, local government units and non-government organizations through hands-on training, workshops and capacity-building.
    • Building awareneness of stakeholders by disseminating technical information through the use of tools for popularization
    • Advocating cultural heritage appreciation and values formation among urban poor organizations, local government units and NGOs.

Advocate holistic urban development, through:

    • Advocating holistic development through participatory city-level planning processes, tools and/or instruments.
    • Advocating balanced distribution of land uses, provision of basic services and amenities in the comprehensive land use plan, city shelter plan or sustainable cities plan.
