PROGRAMS
Our work is divided into four main programs:
Human Settlements and Environment
This program focuses on assistance to urban and rural poor communities in the planning, design, development and management of their settlements.
Education and Training
This program creates education and training modules and conducts workshops on topics such as community development planning, estate management, disaster risk management, and solid waste management. Under the Education and Training Program is the Young Professionals Program.
Young Professionals
This sub-program is a venue for students, academics, and professionals to act and respond to human settlements issues affecting the poor.
Research and Publications
This program is in charge of research, popularization and publication of materials on topics such as building laws, alternative building materials, tools for participatory community planning, and processes of land acquisition.
Organization, Networking, and Advocacy
This program is primarily responsible for organizational sustainability, networkbuilding, and advocacy for alternative professional practice.
